Microsoft has spent a lot of time thinking lately. Thinking about how we use our machines and how we are likely to use them in the near future. One thing they think they know is that as time goes by, we're going to be installing and using more and more apps on our machines.

Malware isn't going away. If anything it is increasing. Criminals are spending money updating their malware systems and making them almost as complex as commercial applications.
